.updating and moving.

.ok, I'm about 5 minutes from running out the door to catch a plane to Venice. But this morning, I updated my website and moved my blog. There are a few smaller mixes up and you can now view "midnight alps". 



and here is probably the last royalty free mix that I'll put together.

.midnight alps.

Finally got this out of my system. 'Alps' has been a bit on the back burner for some time now. We shot this over 8 hours in Jamaica Plain and Allston Massachusetts in the summer of 08. The 'story' is the recreation of a nightmare I had. The blindfolded 'alp' character is a mix of Lovecraft and this really eerie 1920's photo I came across of a woman learning to play the piano blindfolded. Though the interesting part for me is now having made this, my dream goes from being an internal item to something we can all view in some manner. It almost feels like when you go from talking to yourself all day to actually saying the words out loud, the thoughts and ideas become something else. They are in the open now and can breathe.
